How to Install an eSIM Before You Travel

Why install before departure?

Installing your eSIM before you travel helps you avoid airport Wi-Fi stress and gives you time to check that your device is ready.

Before you start

  • Confirm your phone supports eSIM.
  • Make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked.
  • Keep your primary SIM active if you still need your regular number.

Installation steps

  1. Choose your destination and eSIM plan.
  2. Complete checkout securely.
  3. Open the ACE Mobile email with your activation details.
  4. Install using the QR code, direct install link, or manual details.
  5. Keep Wi-Fi connected until setup is complete.

Your plan may activate when it connects to a supported network. Check the plan notes before installing.

After landing

Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line and select it for mobile data. Your phone should connect once a supported network is available.
